Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner based on the representation of the petitioner dated 29.01.2021 stipulated time may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition to direct the respondents herein not to harass him.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents informed the Court that based on the complaint of one Senbagavalli, the petitioner has been summoned. As on date, no FIR has been registered against the petitioner.

3. I direct the respondent/police to summon the petitioner only in writing, if they want to enquire the petitioner. In other words, no oral summon will be issued. If the jurisdictional police registers any FIR against the petitioner, the petitioner will be put on notice so that he will have breathing time to move the concerned Court for anticipatory bail.

4. With this direction to the jurisdictional police, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
