ORDER

(made by Senthilkumar Ramamoorthy, J.) The petitioner seeks consideration of a representation in relation to the commencement of technical training courses for the award of diploma and in respect of courses offered by the ITI in the respective district units.

2. The petitioner states that a considerable sum of money has been invested by the first respondent to create the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

infrastructure for conducting vocational/technical training courses leading to the grant of diploma. However, such courses are not being conducted for a considerable length of time and that this is causing immense hardship to those interested in pursuing such courses and is also adversely affecting their job prospects. In spite of carrying representation dated 31.12.2020, no action has been taken thereon.

3. Ms.Amirtha Poonkodi Dinakaran, Government Advocate, accepts notice for the respondents and submits that the first respondent would consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation within a reasonable time-frame.

4. Accordingly, without examining the merits of the petitioner's representation, the first respondent herein is directed to consider such representation and dispose of the same by way of a speaking order, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. W.P.No.14626 of 2021 is disposed of on these terms without any order as to costs.
