2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.
3. In all these cases, the petitioners herein have purchased plots from one Chandran on 15.02.1988. It is stated that Chandran acquired title to the properties by way of a Partition Deed dated 08.12.1997 and thereafter, the said Chandran had sold plots to the petitioners herein. While so, one Jayaraman, who is said to be the brother of Chandran has registered a Settlement Deed dated 09.04.2014 in respect of Mohan's plot in favour of Jayaraman's children. Similarly, Chandran himself appears to have registered a Settlement Deed in favour of his children, in respect of the plots belonging to Devi Reddy Ramachandra Reddy and Padmavathi.
4. In this regard, Mohan had lodged a complaint to the Inspector of Police, T-4, Maduravoyal Police Station. Based on which, petition enquiry was conducted and the same was closed on 15.06.2016 advising the party to approach civil Court.
5. This Court perused the closure Report and is not satisfied with it. In the considered opinion of this Court, this is a fit case to be enquired by the Land Grabbing Cell of CCB. Therefore, these petitioners are directed to go inperson and lodge a fresh complaint to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, CCB, Vepery, Chennai, who is directed to assign the complaint to the Officer of the Anti Land Grabbing Cell for enquiry and action.
