The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 09.11.2020 pending before the first respondent within the stipulated time.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is a senior citizen and he made application before the second respondent under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 seeking maintenance from the respondents 5 and 6 and to cancel the settlement deed vide document no.15360/2015 and the second respondent without conducting proper enquiry, ordered a monthly maintenance of Rs.5,000/- to the petitioner. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner preferred appeal before the first respondent and since the same has not yet been considered, has filed this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted 2/4

that this Court may issue direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 09.11.2020, within a reasonable time frame.

4.Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 09.11.2020, after affording opportunity to the petitioner and the respondents 5 and 6, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed.
