O.P. No. 3918 of 2020.

O R D E R

(The case has been heard through video conference) This petition has been filed to modify the anticipatory bail condition that the Petitioners shall report before the Respondent daily at 10.30 for a period of two weeks and thereafter, as an when required for interrogation imposed in order dated 10.03.2020 made in Crl. O.P. No. 3918 of 2020.

2. The Learned Counsel for the Petitioners would submit that the Petitioners have complied with the condition by appearing before the Respondent Police and thereafter, one by one they were affected with Covid-19 and thereby, they were unable to appear before the Respondent Police. He would further submit that the Petitioners are willing to appear on summons as and when required by the Respondent Police for the purpose of investigation. Hence, he seeks for modification of the condition.

3. The Learned Counsel appearing for the Government would submit that the Petitioners appeared before the Respondent Police from 27.04.2021 to 30.04.2021 and thereafter, since some of them are affected with Covid-19, they did not appear before the Respondent Police.

4. In view of the above submissions, the condition imposed on the Petitioners in Crl. O.P. No. 3918 of 2020 dated 10.03.2020 is modified to that effect that the Petitioners are directed to report as and when required by the Respondent Police on summons. All other conditions imposed by this Court shall remain intact.
