Respondent Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent to pass orders expeditiously on the unnumbered O.A. presented on 28.02.2014, pending on the file of the respondent.

By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for disposal.

2. The grievance expressed by the petitioner is that he filed an application, dated 28.02.2014, on the file of the respondent, under Section 63 (b) of the Tamil Nadu Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, for declaring his hereditary trusteeship, and, since no orders came to be passed, he has filed this Writ Petition.

3. Heard the submission of Mr.M.L.Mahendran, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondent, and, on instructions, he would submit that the application filed by the petitioner on the file of the respondent has been numbered as O.A.No.16 of 2015 and the hearing date has also been fixed as 30.06.2015.

4. In the light of the above facts and circumstances of the case, nothing survives for consideration in this Writ Petition and accordingly closed. No costs.
