This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying for a direction to the respondents to register a case and investigate the complaint dated 04.02.2015 made by the petitioner against the Inspector of Police (Purushothaman) (Pazavanthangal Police Station) and to proceed further in accordance with law.

2. Heard Mr.V.Veluchamy, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that it is a case in counter and in respect of the same, petition enquiry is pending before the respondent in C.S.R.Nos.116 and 115 of 2015.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the respondents are directed to conduct enquiry in C.S.R.Nos.116 and 115 of 2015 expeditiously and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a regular case shall be registered, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari v. Government of Uttarpradesh and Others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
