ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order dated 14.01.2026 by which the patta standing in the name of the petitioner, was

cancelled and was transferred patta in the name of one Kaniyan, father of Arumugam, the father of respondents 6 and 7. 2.

Aggrieved by the said impugned order dated 14.01.2026, the petitioner has filed a revision petition before the 2nd respondent on 09.02.2026. The learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the revisional authority, viz., the 2nd respondent, to dispose of the said revision petition within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5. Since no adverse order is passed against the respondents 6 and 7 in this writ petition, notice to them is dispensed with by this Court.

No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to the 2nd respondent to dispose of the revision petition dated 09.02.2026, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of respondents 6 and 7, by adhering to the principles of natural justice, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's revision petition dated 09.02.2026. 6.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law, by considering the petitioner's revision petition dated 09.02.2026 along with supporting documents, after hearing the objections of all the necessary parties, which includes the respondents 6 and 7, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, by adhering to the principles of natural justice.
