Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent consider petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2016 for cancellation of UDR patta in the name of the 3rd respondent.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims that her late father was in possession of the agricultural property admeasuring to an extent of 2.04 acres in S.No.391/1B at Begarahalli, Dharmapuri District and would further state that the third respondent is the illegitimate son of her father and the mother of the third respondent influenced her father and registered the settlement deed bearing document no.290 of 2006 in favour of the third respondent and based on which, got UDR patta also. The petitioner in this regard, has submitted representation to the second respondent for cancellation of UDR patta granted in favour of the third respondent and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Ravi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2.

4.Though, the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court in the light of the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 21.06.2016, in

accordance with law, after putting on notice the third respondent and pass orders, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as the third respondent.
