The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent authority to give permission and police protection to conduct cultural programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of Chandirapadi Meenavar Village Arulmigu Sree Bathra Kaliamman Temple Festival at Tharangapadi Taluk, Mayiladuthurai District on 27.04.2022, 29.04.2022 and 03.05.2022 between 06.00 PM to 11.00 PM by considering the petitioner's representation dated 19.04.2022.

2. When the matter is taken up today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the representation of the petitioner has been rejected by the respondent and it is also served on the petitioner.

3. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
