PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the second respondent police to register the FIR based on the complaint dated 16.08.2018 given by the petitioner against one Sekar and Pandian to the respondents and pending in CSR No.278 of 2018 on the file of the 2nd respondent police.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to register the FIR based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 16.08.2018 against one Sekar and Pandian.

2. Heard Mr.S.Silambu Selvan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.M.Prabhavathi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after receipt of the complaint, CSR has been issued, a preliminary enquiry has been conducted and thereafter the complaint has been closed.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has not received any intimation with regard to the closure of his complaint.

5. Considering the aforesaid submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. The second respondent is directed to send intimation to the petitioner by RPAD with regard to closure of the complaint within a week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
