The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider and pass orders on the application dated 1.6.2017 made by him within a time frame much before the fixed programme which is to be held on 12.6.2017.

rg 2.It is the case of the petitioner that in spite of the representation being given to the respondents on 01.06.2017 for conducting cultural programme in the Temple on 12.06.2017, the respondents have not passed orders till today.

3.A Division Bench of this Court in W.P.(MD).No.3773 of 2017, by order dated 03.03.2017, in similar circumstances, directed the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner therein and dispose of the same.

4.Following the order passed by the Division Bench, I direct the 2 nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 01.06.2017 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on or before 09.06.2017.

With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 06.06.2017 rg Note: Issue order copy today on 08.06.2017.
