Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to give permission to the petitioner to conduct a cultural programme scheduled to be held on 2.7.2015 at "Shri Muthu Mariamman Temple" at Pachal Panchayat, Thirupathur Taluk, Vellore District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.6.2015. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims to be an organiser of temple festival relating to Shri Muthu Mariamman Temple at Pachal Panchayata, Thirupathur Taluk, Vellore District, and he submitted an application dated 21.6.2015, to the respondent praying for necessary permission to conduct cultural events on 2.7.2015, in connection with the above said temple festival, and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.M.Digvijaya Pandian, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.This Court, without going into the merits of the application/representation, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application/representation dated 21.6.2015, in accordance with law, on or before 30.6.2015, and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
