Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India for issue of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 1st respondent to pass order on the appeal made by the petitioner on 24.04.2024 against the order of the 4th respondent dated 22.08.2023. For Petitioners :

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To the 1st respondent to pass order on the appeal made by the petitioner on 24.04.2024 against the order of the 4th respondent dated 22.08.2023. "

2. The petitioner would submit that he was appointed as a Cook in the Government ADW Boys Hostel, Gangavalli Post and Taluk, 2/6

Salem District, by appointment order dated 06.01.2016. The contention of the petitioner is that when he reported for duty on 13.01.2016, he was not allowed to join by the 5th respondent. Thereafter, the petitioner made a representation to respondents 4 and 5, requesting them to post him as a Cook in Government ADW Boys Hostel, Gangavalli Post and Taluk, Salem District.

3. Thereafter, the 4th respondent by order dated 22.08.2023 rejected the petitioner's claim. Challenging the said order, the petitioner preferred an appeal on 24.04.2024, before respondents 1 and

2. However, the same has not been disposed of till now. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner's appeal dated 24.04.2024 has not been considered to date, a direction is issued to the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal, within a period of 1 month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
