This application is filed seeking to condone the delay of 694 days in filing the written statement in the above suit.

2.Since there was no objection on the other side and having regard to the nature of the allegations found in the affidavits with regard to the delay in filing the written statement, and in order to give a fair opportunity to the defendants, this application is ordered, accordingly, subject to the payment of cost of Rs.15,000/- payable to the Adyar Cancer Institute, Chennai on or before 22.12.2023.
