O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Chengam to complete the trial in C.C.No.148 of 2012 as expeditiously as possible.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side) for the respondent.

3. It is seen that a private complaint was filed in C.C.No.148 of 2012 as against the petitioner before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Chengam for the offence 409, 468, 471 r/w. 109 of IPC.3. It is also seen that, the prosecution witness and the defence witness have already been examined and the case is still pending.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, and also that the case is pending from the year 2012 onwards, this Court deems it fit to direct the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Chengam to complete the trial proceedings in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

C.C.No.148 of 2012, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
