The petitioners have made a representation to the second respondent on 21.04.2016 for issuance of patta in respect of S.No.104, Plot Nos.52 & 53 an total extend of 1400 sq. ft. respectively situated at Adambakkam Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District. However, till date, the same was not considered and hence, the petitioners have filed both the Writ Petitions seeking a direction to the the second respondent to issue Patta in the above said properties.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation made
by the petitioners within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record in both the writ petitions.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and in view of the limited request made by the petitioners, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 21.04.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, the writ petitions are disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed. 16.11.2022 Internet :
