By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims to be the owner of the house site property comprised in Village Natham Survey No.203/1, Patta No.315 and Old Village Natham Survey No.203/Part and New Survey No.222/35, Thiruverkadu Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Thiruvallur Taluk, admeasuring to an extent of 2200 square feet, by virtue of a sale deed dated 23.2.2004, registered as Document No.1262 of 2004, on the file of the Sub-Registrar, Kuntrathur, and would further claim that patta was also transferred in his name and he is in possession and enjoyment of the same and also paying all statutory levies. 3.The petitioner would further state that for the purpose of surveying the said property and to make a subdivision, he submitted an application dated 14.7.

2014, to the respondent by paying necessary fees and though many months had lapsed, no orders had been passed and hence, he came forward to file this writ petition. 4.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondent. 5.Though the petitioner prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the facts and circumstances of the case and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.

respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 14.7.2014, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, the persons concerned, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
