By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner claims that she is the owner of the land in SF No.646/4, at Ramanayakanpalayam Village, Attur Taluk, Salem
District, and she purchased the same by way of a registered sale deed along with electricity service connection No.347 and her name appears in the revenue records as well as in the records maintained by the TNEB/TANGEDCO.
The petitioner would further state that the electricity service connection was also given in her name vide proceedings of the Assistant Accounts Officer, Attur, dated 9.7.1992, and later on, she came to know that the service connection was transferred in the name of one Mrs.Kamalam, without putting her on notice, and in this regard, submitted a representation dated 6.4.2015, to the third respondent, the copies of which were marked to the respondents 1 and 2, and since she has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, and Mr.S.K.Raameshuwar, learned Counsel, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner, directs the third respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 6.4.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice, Mrs.Kamalam, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the person concerned. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
