Petition under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1970/71 to punish the respondent for wilful disobedience of the interim order dated 13.03.2017 passed in W.M.P. No. 27509 of 2016 in W.P. O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by K.K. SASIDHARAN,J.) We are informed by the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the respondent that during the currency of this contempt petition, orders were issued by the respondent giving promotion to the petitioners.

However, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the promotion was given retrospectively without giving seniority and claiming such seniority, the petitioners have given a representation. 3.

While closing the contempt petition, we make it clear that this order would not stand in the way of the respondent considering the representation said to have been submitted by the petitioners. No costs.
