ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to consider the representation dated 12.03.2024.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he is the proprietor of M/s.Raalice Foods which is engaged in preparing home-made snacks & savories in a small scale level. The company is regularly paying all statutory taxes such as GST, Income Tax. The petitioner is periodically renewing the Corporation trade license. The last renewal was done on 17.03.2023 by the third respondent who gave the trade license which expires on 31.03.2024. The food license issued by FSSAI expires on 14.09.2028. When the petitioner tried to renew the trade license for the financial year 2024-25, he was unable to login to the website to fill in the columns and submit it. Hence, the petitioner approached the second and third respondents and he was asked to send a request letter for renewal of license. Accordingly, the petitioner sent a request letter to the third respondent to renew the license. Since there was no response from the respondents, the 2/4

present writ petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.03.2024.

3. The learned Standing Counsel for the respondents would submit that the petitioner has to apply only through online. If there is any technical problem in website, the same will be rectified and the petitioner can apply through online.

4. Considering the submissions made, the petitioner shall try to apply once again through online and he can also send the application in-person or through RPAD to the respondents and on receiving the same, the respondents are directed to pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of application from the petitioner.
