ORDER
This writ petition is filed with a prayer to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to take necessary actions to provide adequate compensation for wrong treatment provided by the respondents 5 to 9 based on the representation sent by the petitioner dated 10.02.2025.
2. The grievance of the petitioner is that when the petitioner fell down from the cycle and got injured in her knee, erroneous treatment was given by the respondents 5 to 9, leading to the amputation of her leg.
3. Be that as it may, if the petitioner claims deficiency in service and seeks compensation against respondents 5 to 9, who are private doctors, the petitioner has to approach the appropriate consumer forum. If the petitioner wants to take action for professional misconduct, the petitioner has to approach the Tamil Nadu Medical Council under the rules for initiation of disciplinary proceedings. Therefore, keeping open the liberty of the petitioner to take such steps and as and when such a petition is filed, the concerned counsil may consider the same in accordance with law. 3/5
4. With the above liberty kept open to the petitioner, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
