This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the second respondent to give police protection to the petitioner and his family members.
2.When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that having sought for police protection, the petitioner did not appear before the respondent police and hence the representation made by the petitioner seeking police protection was closed. 3.In view of the above statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition and accordingly the Criminal Original Petition is closed.
