PRAYER : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to instruct the respondents 3 to 6 and their men and officials to take the prior permission of the respondents 1 and 2 and the concerned local Judicial Magistrate before taking the petitioner to their custody in connection with any Criminal Case alleged to have been registered against him or proposed to be registered against him. ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the the respondents 1 and 2 to instruct the respondents 3 to 6 and their men and officials to take the prior permission of the respondents 1 and 2 and the concerned local Judicial Magistrate before taking the petitioner to their custody in connection with any Criminal Case alleged to have been registered against him or proposed to be registered against him.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

3.In view of the above endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
