According to the revision petitioner, the revision petitioner has filed a petition in HMOP.No.67 of 2016 on the file of the II Additional Family Court, Chennai, which is pending. Hence, the revision petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition before this Court for speedy disposal of the above HMOP.
2. The learned counsel for the revision petitioner brought to
notice of this Court that an application in IA.No.232 of 2017 filed by the respondent raising the jurisdiction of the HMOP has been argued and reserved for judgment. Hence, the learned counsel for the revision petitioner seeks this Court to mould the relief as prayed for in the present Civil Revision Petition and to direct the court below to dispose of the said application within the time as may be fixed by this Court.
3. In view of the request made by the learned counsel for the revision petitioner, this Court is inclined to direct the II Additional Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the IA.No.232 of 2017 on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably on or before 15.03.2018.
4. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with above direction. No costs.
