This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to consider the petitioner's representation vide letter dated 21.02.2024 regarding implementation of 3rd PRC, long pending promotion, LTC and Revision of Medical allowances for the HBL, IVC employees, Chengalpattu. 2.

The petitioner is an employee of HBL IVC Employees Welfare Association which is registered with Registration No.STG/Chengalpattu/116/2020, affiliated to the National Confederation of Officer's Association. The petitioner is working as a Deputy Manager in the respondent office. The petitioner's Welfare Association was formed with an objective to unite and organize all the staff of the HBL-IVC to uphold and protect the interest, rights and privileges of the employees in all aspects related to their employment and service matter. 3.

The petitioner filed a representation dated 21.02.2004 to the respondent regarding implementation of 3rd PRC, long pending promotion, LTC and Revision of Medical allowances for the HBL, IVC employees, Chengalpattu. Similar to the representation given by the petitioner, other Page No.2 of 4

employees have also submitted their representations but there was no response. The representation submitted by the petitioner was though received by the respondent on 26.02.2024. There was no response. Therefore, the petitioner sought for a direction to the respondent by way of a mandamus to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.02.2024. Once petitioner has submitted representation to the respondent the respondent should have provided with suitable reply.

Considering the above and without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of at the admission stage itself, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.02.2024 as quickly as possible not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
