O R D E R

[Order of the Court is made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The writ of mandamus has been instituted to direct the respondents to receive the manual application to accept the manual representation cum application dated 26.02.2025, for issuance of building plan approval for the property situated in Old No.50, New No.4, Jan Mohammed Street, Mount Road, Chennai - 600 002, based upon the petitioners' representation dated 26.02.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner seeking building plan permission had not been received and thus the petitioner is constrained to move the present writ petition. The procedure for submission for application is to be followed scrupulously. In the event of filing any such application as per the procedures contemplated, such application will be received by the authorities and the decision is to be taken. This being the process to be adopted in accordance with the Rules, the present writ petition seeking a direction became unnecessary and this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs. [S.M.S., J.] [K.R.S., J.] 09.04.2025 Index : Yes Speaking order / Non-speaking order Jeni
