O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking for a direction to the first respondent herein to pass an order on merits on the petitioner's application dated 11.08.2017 pending.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that she has applied for layout approval before the second respondent herein on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

24.02.2015 for her land measuring 9.92 acres out of 10.22 acres, comprised in Survey Nos.26/2A, 2B, 2C, 28/2A1, 2B1 in Jadayampalayam Village, Mettupalayam Taluk, Coimbatore District and the same was forwarded to the first respondent. The first respondent called for explanation and the same was complied with by the petitioner on 20.10.2016. Since no action has been taken, the petitioner gave a representation on 11.08.2017 to consider her application and pass orders.

3. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, as the prayer in the Writ Petition is only a limited scope, without going into the merits, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.08.2017, if it is in order, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above observation and direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
