This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 09.06.2016 and to file a final report.

2. No representation for the petitioner. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and perused the records.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the complaint dated 09.06.2016 given by the petitioner to the second respondent police has been referred to the Inspector of Police, W-33, All Women Police Station, Madhavaram for want of jurisdiction.

4. Recording the same, this Court directs the Inspector of Police, W-33 All Women Police Station, Madhavaram to refer the matter to the Social Welfare Officer and after getting the report, take action in accordance with law.
