ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.S.N.Subramani, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 3 and 5; and, Mr.T.Balachandran, learned counsel for the fourth respondent.

2. Learned Special Government Pleader submits that Survey Nos.288/18 and 288/19 are classified as "road". As far as Survey

No.290 is concerned, there are various sub-divisions and, in respect of some of the sub-divisions, pattas are issued. Learned Special Government Pleader further submits that survey would be conducted by the authorities and, in the survey, if any encroachment is found on the road, action would be taken in accordance with law.

3. In view of the said statement made by learned Special Government Pleader, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
