This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register FIR based on petitioner's complaint dated 16.06.2016.
2. No representation for the petitioner. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and perused the records.
3. It is seen that the complaint dated 16.06.2016 has been sent by post to the Superintendent of Police, Namakkal, and a copy forwarded to the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
4. On a reading of the complaint dated 16.06.2016, there appears to be prima facie materials for enquiry by the District Crime Branch, Namakkal. Therefore, the petitioner is directed to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint to the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Namakkal and on such complaint being received, the same shall be enquired into and action taken in accordance with law.
