BHARATHA CHAKRAVARTHY CRIMINAL MISCELLANEOUS PETITION No.6172 of 2022 IN CRL RC.344/2022 A.C.SUDHAKAR [ PETITIONER ] Vs VINAYA [ RESPONDENT ] Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to extend 8 weeks time to comply with the order dated 22.03.2022 made in Crl.M.P.No.3627 of 2022 in Crl.R.C.No.344 of 2022 on the file of this Hon'ble Court and thus render justice.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S. N. MANOKARAN, Advocate for the petitioner the court made the following order:- This petition is filed to extend time to comply with the order passed by this Court, dated 22.03.2022 made in Crl.M.P.No.3627 of 2022 in Crl.R.C.No.344 of 2022, whereby, the petitioner was granted stay on condition to deposit a sum of Rs.11,50,000/- (Rupees eleven lakhs fifty thousand only) within a period of five weeks from there.

2. Even though the said period was already over and even the extension of time petition was filed in the month of April, 2022, till date, the amount has not been deposited. However, the learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that without fail the petitioner would deposit the amount within a period of four weeks from today (06.06.2022). Accordingly, the time is extended by four weeks from today to deposit the said sum as ordered by this Court.

3. As a matter of fact, the petitioner had prayed for eight weeks time from 25.04.2022 and he has been now granted four weeks from today which is more than the time which is originally prayed by him. Therefore, the petitioner shall deposit the amount without fail. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. It is made clear that if the amount is not deposited within the period of four weeks from today (06.06.2022), the interim stay shall stand automatically vacated and no further extension of time will be granted to the petitioner.
