ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.) Alleging that the petitioner's daughter, born on 18.01.2006 and completed 18 years of age, had gone missing from his house, a complaint came to be given before the respondent Police, which was registered in Crime No.172 of 2024 under the caption 'women missing'. Since there was no significant progress in investigation, the present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.

2.Today, when the matter was called, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner's daughter, who is aged about 18 years had married one Dhatchanamoorthy, S/o.Ramasamy, residing at No.1/241, Kumaran Colony, Chettipalayam, Thirumuruganpoondi, Tirupur - 641 652, Tamilnadu on 22.03.2024 at Karumariyamman Temple,

Thennampalayam, Tirupur and is now residing with her husband and inlaws. 3.Since the petitioner's daughter is a major and has chosen to marry a person of her choice, it would not be appropriate to consider the prayer sought for in the present Habeas Corpus Petition.
