When the matter was taken up for hearing on 15.02.2018, this Court directed the respondent viz., Inspector of Police, Erode Taluk Police Station, Erode to secure and produce the accused before this Court on 09.03.2018 and the matter was directed to be listed on 09.03.2018.
2. Today, i.e. 09.03.2018, the learned Government Advocate would submit that the accused/appellant died on 19.08.2016 and the Village Administrative Officer was also received a letter dated 06.03.2018, wherein, it is stated that the said accused/appellant viz.,Arumugam @ Murugan died on 19.08.2016 , which was informed by the mother of the deceased appellant.
