Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and fix boundaries to the petitioner's land situated in Survey No.191/1D2 to an extent of 2.80 cents, located at Mambudhur Village, Uthiramerur Taluk, Kancheepuram District within the time limit to be stipulated by this Court and further direct the third respondent to provide necessary protection for the same.

ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

This writ petition is filed to direct the first and second respondents 2 to survey and fix boundaries to the petitioner's land situated in Survey No.191/1D2 to an extent of 2.80 cents, located at Mambudhur Village, Uthiramerur Taluk, Kancheepuram District within the time limit to be stipulated by this Court and further direct the third respondent to provide necessary protection for the same.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the first and second respondents and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the third respondent and perused the materials available on record.

4. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has given an application dated 10.01.2023 to survey his land and fix the boundaries, the respondents have not taken any action to survey his land. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, without going into the merits of the case, there shall be a direction to the respondents to dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 10.01.2023 on merits after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners and any other interested persons, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
