..Respondent(s) PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and fix boundaries for the petitioner's land bearing survey No.40/3A2, to an extent of 1.94 acres, situated at Rajapalayam Village, Salem South Taluk and District based on the sale deed Nos.3993 of 2011 dated 08.11.2011, sale deed No.4180 of 2011 dated 17.11.2011 and sale deed No.4909 of 2011 dated 23.12.2011, on the file of the Sub Register Office, Veerapandi, Salem District, by considering her online application No.2026/0123/08/000879 dated 16.02.2026 within time limit to be stipulated by this Hon'ble Court and also direct the 3rd respondent to provide the necessary protection for the same and pass such further or other orders.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by her, based on her online application dated 16.02.2026 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had submitted an online application on 16.02.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 and 2. Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) accepts notice on behalf of the third respondent. Since no adverse orders are passed against the respondents 4 to 6, notice to the respondents 4 to 6 is dispensed with by this Court.

4. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

5. No prejudice will be caused to the first respondent, if the said authority is directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property, more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the

objections of the respondents 4 to 6 and any neighbouring land owners as well as any other third party, whom they deem it fit to enquire. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:- (a) Before surveying the lands in question, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the respondents 4 to 6 and any neighbouring land owners as well as any other third party, whom they deem it fit to enquire.

(b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the second respondent shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property, more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

(c) If the need arises for police assistance and on a request made by the second respondent, the third respondent shall render police assistance for the effective implementation of this order.

No Costs.
