ORDER

[This matter has been heard through video conference] This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 5.12.2020 for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of a land measuring an extent of 0.61.0 acres comprised in Survey No.232/2A of Konagihalli Village,

2. The petitioner claims that he along with this family members have been in possession and enjoyment of the land mentioned herein above for several years by cultivating it. The above land has been classified as "Karadu" in the revenue records. While so, in the year 2020, he made a representation to the 1st respondent seeking assignment of the said land in his favour. Now, the grievance of the petitioner is that his application has not been considered till date by the 1st respondent. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 and also perused the records carefully.

4. Considering the limited nature of the relief sought for in the writ petition, this court, without going into the merits, directs the 1st respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 05.12.2020 for issuance of patta on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
