O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner on 30.10.2023 wherein the petitioner is seeking for cancellation of patta standing in the name of respondents 3 and 4 and for issuance of patta in his name.

2. Heard Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned counsel for petitioner and Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 and 2.

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to deal with the appeal filed by the petitioner on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the respondents 3 and 4 and final orders shall be passed within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
