TERMS OF SETTLEMENT This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal had been filed by the Appellant/Transport Corporation aggrieved by the award of the Tribunal granting a sum of Rs.13,80,750/- (Rupees Thirteen Lakhs Eighty Thousand and Seven Hundred Fifty Only) with interest at 7.5%. Pursuant to the award, the Appellant/Transport Corporation had already deposited a sum of Rs.27,68,330/-.
2. Today, the Appellant/Transport Corporation entered into a settlement with the Respondents/Claimants to settle the matter for Rs.21,97,000/- (Rupees Twenty One Lakhs and Ninety Seven Thousand Only), in full quit.

In view of the above settlement, the Respondents/Claimants are permitted to withdraw the sum of Rs.21,97,000/- (Rupees Twenty One Lakhs and Ninety Seven Thousand Only), in full quit and the appellant/Transport Corporation is permitted to withdraw the excess amount already deposited. Accordingly, the Civil Miscellaneous appeal is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition, if any, is closed.
