O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioners on the basis on his complaint dated 27.03.2019. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner belongs to Most Backward community and he

has constructed a house in the Government Purampokke land. The petitioner along with neighbors seeking patta for their houses for past 20 years by making representation to the Government. On 21.03.2019, the petitioner was constructing his permanent house, but the above said 4 to 7 respondents trespassed into the petitioner house and threatened with dire consequences that not to construct a roof. Therefore, the petitioner lodged the complaint before the 1st respondent dated 27.03.2019. 3.

Heard Mr.G.Prabhu learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents police.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on petitioner's complaint dated 27.03.2019 along with the counter part after giving opportunities and pass orders on merits in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of with the above direction.
