(CRIME NO.550 OF 2020) Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition that the petitioner shall report before the respondent police instead of the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate in Crl.MP.No.1849/2021 in Crl.OP.No.517/2020 order dated 04.03.2021.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.RAJENDIRAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.J.C.DURAI RAJ,Govt. Advocate (Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent the court made the following order:- [This matter has been heard through video conference] This miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to modify the condition imposed by this court, by order dated 04.03.2021 in Crl.M.P.No.1849 of 2021 in Crl.O.P.No.517 of 2020, directing the petitioner to report before the respondent police instead of the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, in another case registered in Crime NO.21/2020, while granting bail on 23.02.2021 in Crl.O.P.No.801 of 2021, the petitioner was directed to report before the respondent police, he could not appear before the Judicial Magistrate concerned as directed by this court. 3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) has no serious objection in allowing the modification petition.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this miscellaneous petition is allowed and the petitioner is directed to report before the respondent police, daily at 10.30 a.m. until further orders.
