O R D E R

The writ petition is taken up for final disposal, since the matter lies in the narrow compass.

2.

I have heard the submissions on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Father of the petitioner, a Secondary Grade Teacher in the 5th respondent-School, died on 15.12.2002, in harness. On 09.07.2003, the petitioner gave a representation to the 4th respondent, through the 5th respondent, for compassionate appointment. The 4th respondent, vide proceedings in R.C.No.2/56527/2008, dated 30.04.2010, forwarded the proceedings of the 5th respondent, along with the representation, dated 09.07.2003, to the 2nd respondent, for consideration. Thereafter, the 2nd respondent, vide proceedings in R.C.No.x1/18231/2013-1, dated 22.07.2013, has directed the 4th respondent to take appropriate action on the representation of the petitioner. In view of the narrow prayer made, the 4th respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 19.12.2014, of the petitioner, for compassionate appointment, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
