As the place given for holding additional charge is just 3 kilometres from her residence, whereas the place to which she is permanently posted viz., Thachur is about 15 kilometres, she has given a representation on 22.05.2017 stating that she has been working in the said school for the past 16 years and in view of the fact that two Noon Meal Centres are being handled, one Centre is situated at 3 kilometres from her residence and another centre is situated at about 15 kilometres from her residence, she has requested the District Collector, Thiruvallur to retain her in Arani which is about only 3 kilometres and relieve her from duty from the centre at Thachur. As the said https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

representation has not been considered, she has been advised to come to this court.

2.Mr.T.M.Pappiah, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice on behalf of the respondent No.1 sought for six weeks time to consider the pending representation.

3.Since the petitioner is admittedly holding two charges, one at the Noon Meal Centre at Thachur and another at the Noon Meal Centre at Arani as additional charge, this Court finds no impediment to direct the District Collector to consider the case of the petitioner. Accordingly, the first respondent District Collector, Thiruvallur is directed to retain the petitioner at Noon Meal Centre at Arani, relieve her as and when occasion arises by appointing a suitable Noon Meal Organizer at Thachur and pass appropriate orders in this regard within a period of six weeks time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly.
