Respondents PRAYER : Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Ceritoriorified Mandamus, after calling for the records from the third respondent herein and to set aside the order of the third respondent made in his proceedings C.No.E3/1220/2017 NIL dated and dated at the bottom by the Administrative Office of District as 12.05.2017 and quash the same and direct the third respondent herein to consider petitioner representation for the renewal of petitioner office as Area Commander Home Guards, Thiruvarur District. After arguing the matter for considerable length of time and when this Court expressed the opinion that the writ petitioner was discharged from duty on, expiry of the tenure and the post in Home Guards, will not confer any right, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner made a submission that there is a Provision for Appeal. It is left open to the writ petitioner to prefer an Appeal to the higher authorities against the order of discharge. Under these circumstances, the learned counsel requested the Court to grant permission to withdraw the writ petition. Accordingly, the learned counsel is permitted to withdraw the writ petition.
Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
