K.Prakash .. Respondent With the consent of both the parties, this case is taken up for settlement before this Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Ms. D.Rajalakshmi, learned counsel for
writ petitioner and Ms. U.R.Nandhini, learned counsel for the respondent are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows: TERMS OF SETTLEMENT The Lower Court has awarded that the respondent therein is directed to reinstate the petitioner into service with full back wages, continuity of service and all other attendant benefits. Aggrieved by the said award, the petitioner has preferred the present writ petition.

However, after due deliberation and consultation, both the parties agreed that the petitioner and the respondent has agreed to resolve the issue by paying a sum of Rs.2,20,000/- by way of demand draft dated 08.02.2023 bearing No. 943818 drawn in favour of the respondent viz., K.Prakash and the copy of the demand draft has been filed by the petitioner/company. Now the petitioner /company has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.2,20,000/- as full and final settlement. The demand draft has been handed over by the petitioner, which is duly received by the respondent herein and the same is recorded. Accordingly, the matter is settled amicably between the parties. In view of the nothing remains for further adjudication in the writ petition.
3. Recording the above statement made by the parties as well as by the learned counsel appearing on either side, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
