ORDER

The wife is the petitioner before me. She seeks transfer of proceedings in O.P.No.88 of 2024 from the file of the Family Court at Trichy to the file of the Family Court at Chennai or to any other Courts. Page No 1 of 4

2. Mr.K.Prasanth states that he has entered appearance on behalf of the respondent. He further states that his client has no objection for the transfer of proceedings from Trichy to Chennai.

3. Apart from that, it is seen from the records that the petitioner is a resident of Avadi, and for her to travel from Avadi to Trichy for the purpose of attending Court hearings will be difficult.

4. Taking into consideration the convenience of the wife and the fact that the husband has tendered no objection for the transfer, I am inclined to allow this transfer petition. Hence, the proceeding in O.P.No.88 of 2024 pending on the file of the Family Court at Trichy is withdrawn and it shall stand transferred to the file of the Family Court at Chennai.

5. It is left open for the respondent to move an application before the learned Trial Judge for the purpose of recording evidence through Video Conference.
