PETITION under Section 24 of the Civil Procedure Code to withdraw H.M.O.P.No.44 of 2010 pending on the file of the Subordinate Court, Villupuram and transfer the same to the file of the learned Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai. ORDER
This is a petition filed by the petitioner for transfer of the main petition for divorce filed by the respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel on both sides.
3. The respondent has filed a memo stating no objection for the transfer of the case. The memo reads as follows : "It is submitted that the petitioner has filed the above Tr.C.M.P.No.506 of 2014 before this Hon'ble Court for transfer of the case in H.M.O.P. No.44 of 2010 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Villupuram to the file of the Family Court, Chennai. The respondent further submits that she has no objection for the transfer of the case and orders may be passed accordingly with a direction to dispose of the above case within a time frame to be fixed by the Hon'ble Court."

4. Therefore, this petition is allowed withdrawing H.M.O.P.No.44 of 2010 pending on the file of the Subordinate Court, Villupuram and transferring it to the Principal Family Court, Chennai. The Subordinate Court, Villupuram shall transfer the records within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Within two weeks of receipt of the records, the Principal Family Court, Chennai shall allot it to one of the Additional Courts or allot it before itself and endeavour to dispose it of within a period of three months. No costs. Consequently, the above MP is closed.
