ORDER
The Civil Revision Petition is filed seeking a direction to learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Chengalpattu to expeditiously dispose of the appeal pending in A.S.No.44 of 2016 on its file.
2. The petitioner herein, who is the 9th defendant in a suit for partition filed an appeal challenging the judgment and decree passed by the Trial Court dated 28.01.2016. The appeal has been pending on the file of learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Chengalpattu for the past 9 years without much progress.
3. A perusal of the adjudication sheet filed in the typed set of papers would indicate that the appeal was posted for arguments as early as 28.03.2019. Thereafter, there is no much progress. Hence, the first appellate Court is directed to dispose of the appeal as expeditiously as possible. 2/4
4. With the above directions, the civil revision petition stands dismissed. No costs.
