ORDER

The petitioner was appointed as a conductor on temporary basis in the 1st respondent Corporation on 31.07.1996 and his services were regularized from 01.06.1997. His salary was reviewed as per the first Review Settlement, dated 01.03.2003. The second Review was effected on 01.05.2010. The petitioner was retired on 30.06.2017 on attaining the age of superannuation. Prior to his retirement, there is another Salary Review Settlement arrived on 01.05.2017, but the same was not extended to the petitioner. In this regard, the petitioner has made a representation on 05.08.2017. The grievance of the petitioner is that so far his representation has not been considered and he was not given the benefit of third Review Settlement.

2. Despite notice served on the respondents and their names printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the respondents.

3. Since the petitioner's retirement falls subsequent to the third Review Settlement, the respondents are directed to consider the

representation dated 05.08.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits with regard to fixing the last drawn Salary and consequential monetary benefits, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
