O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the FIR on the complaint given by the Petitioner dated 28.03.2022.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the accused one Rakkiappan had created a forged mortgage receipt in Doc.No.6202 of 2022 and attempted to register the property into his name. The petitioner had given a complaint to the respondent on 28.03.2022. However, no case has been registered by the respondent. Thereby, the present petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint. More over, the petitioner had earlier filed O.S.No.414 of 2021.

Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that earlier very same complaint had been given by the petitioner on 20.01.2022 to the respondent and the case was enquired and finding that the case was civil in nature, the respondent has closed the complaint. Thereafter, once again the petitioner had given the very same complaint before the respondent.

4. At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not received any closure report.

5. In view of the above, direction is issued to the respondent to furnish the copy of the closure report to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On such receipt, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the closure report by way of filing protest petition in accordance with law.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petitions stands disposed of.
